AGILE MFG. OFFERS NEW SHENANDOAH®
SIDE BELT NEST SYSTEM FOR POULTRY
ANDERSON, Missouri, U.S.A. – A new SHENANDOAH® side belt breeder nest system is now available to poultry producers from Agile Mfg., Inc., a subsidiary of CTB, Inc.
The re-designed Side Belt Nest System is easier to assemble and fits on existing 12-foot (3.7 m) or wider slats. The improvements for the new nest system include:
- Nest sections can be ordered in single, double or triple combinations along with six passageway lengths to optimize the producer's desired hens-per-hole ratio.
- Shenandoah's revised nest parts packaging helps optimize shipping weight and combinations of parts for nest orders.
- A re-designed nest body features common panels for less on-site sorting and faster, easier assembly.
- Fewer fasteners and hardware components for simpler and faster assembly.
Producers are now able to order complete systems kits and can choose standard width nest holes or wider 12-inch (305-mm) holes to more comfortably accommodate today's larger hens. Producers can also choose from different nest pad options – turf, molded (with or without decoy egg), or finger.
